Planned Parenthood

UX/UI Design for Security Intelligence Platform

Close Copy

Challenge

Planned Parenthood required a secure, enterprise-grade internal platform to manage threat intelligence and protect staff and supporters nationwide. Existing systems were fragmented, manual, and error-prone, creating risk in high-pressure situations where accuracy and speed were critical. The organization needed a unified solution that could handle sensitive data, complex workflows, and strict security requirements.

Strategy

As Creative Director at DVG, I led the UX and information architecture for a comprehensive intelligence platform built for high-security use cases. I documented operational workflows, developed detailed wireframes, and created interactive prototypes that streamlined data entry, reduced cognitive load, and minimized duplication. The system was designed around clarity, speed, and error prevention while aligning with rigorous internal security standards.

Results

Incident reporting accuracy improved by 150 percent. Duplicate subject entries decreased by 75 percent. Incident closures and resolutions increased by 220 percent within the first six months. The redesigned platform strengthened operational oversight and significantly improved the organization’s ability to respond to real-world threats.
