FIGARO
A Distinct NYC Bar & Restaurant
My Role: Brand Identity | Print & Signage Design | Brand Messaging | UX/UI Design | Web Design
About Project: Formerly known as the iconic Le Figaro Café, a historic haunt graced by luminaries like Jack Kerouac, Lenny Bruce, Allen Ginsberg, Lou Reed, and Al Pacino during the vibrant 1950s and 1960s in the heart of Greenwich Village, New York City, it was destined for a grand transformation into an expansive, modern bar and restaurant. This revamped venue would take pride in offering unique American cuisine and expertly crafted signature cocktails.
My Approach: In my role as the design lead for this project, I embraced a hands-on approach, meticulously crafting the brand's identity, strategy, and messaging. I applied my creative expertise to a wide spectrum of elements, including print collateral, signage, website aesthetics, and digital marketing assets. My creative vision harmoniously united playfulness, boldness, uniqueness, and modernity, all subtly infused with a touch of avant-garde flair. This comprehensive strategy guaranteed that the brand retained its distinct essence while preserving a sense of campy light-heartedness.
