Problem
Meridian Furniture relied primarily on white-background product photography that documented products clearly but did little to communicate their aesthetic or help customers envision them within real living environments. Creating premium lifestyle photography at scale through traditional production would require significant time, coordination, studio resources, and ongoing costs.
The challenge was finding a more efficient approach without sacrificing product accuracy, visual consistency, or the quality expected from the Meridian brand.
Solution
I developed an AI-enabled creative production workflow that transforms existing product photography into premium lifestyle imagery while preserving the accuracy of the original furniture.
Using the Midjourney Web Editor and Photoshop, I established a repeatable process for product preparation, environment generation, creative refinement, and quality control. I then documented the system in an AI-Enabled Catalog Imagery Guide, giving the Creative team practical standards for composition, lighting, product accuracy, prompting, Photoshop refinement, and final asset review.
Result
The new approach elevated Meridian’s visual presentation while significantly reducing the time and production resources required for traditional lifestyle photography. More importantly, it turned an experimental AI workflow into a repeatable creative production system the internal team could use to generate consistent, brand-aligned imagery at scale.
To make the workflow repeatable and scalable, I developed an AI-Enabled Catalog Imagery Guide documenting the process from product preparation and Midjourney generation through Photoshop refinement and final quality control.
