My Role: UX/UI Design | Project Management | Creative Direction | Prototyping
About Project: As the Creative Director at DVG, I took on the position of design lead for a collaborative project with the renowned GIS (Geographic Information System) company Esri. Our goal was to develop a Sales Operations web portal catering to the needs of internal sales and management teams, providing a comprehensive view of their stores across various regions in the United States. Through close collaboration with stakeholders at Tarte Cosmetics, we crafted an intuitive portal that allows the Tarte team to swiftly and effectively access their sales data nationwide. This streamlined process ensures efficient product distribution to meet their strategic objectives.
My Approach: As the creative and project management lead, I led a diverse team of seasoned professionals from design, GIS, development, architecture, and testing. Adopting an agile development and prototyping approach, we cultivated strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including Esri and Tarte Cosmetics executives. Together, we shaped information architecture, crafted use case scenarios, and continuously tested and refined design concepts and prototypes throughout this highly successful project.
