Challenge

The United Nations Office of Information and Communication Technology needed a cohesive identity and redesigned Unite website that could serve a diverse global audience. The previous experience lacked clarity, accessibility, and structural consistency across languages, making critical information difficult to find, manage, and scale across teams.

Strategy

As Creative Director, I developed a unified identity system for the Unite platform and led the website redesign to improve navigation, readability, and operational efficiency. I restructured the information architecture, aligned the experience with UN visual standards, and created scalable design guidelines to ensure consistency across digital touchpoints. The final system balanced visual clarity with global accessibility requirements and multilingual needs.

Results

The new Unite experience made information faster to access and easier to manage across regions and departments. Editorial workflows improved, operational friction decreased, and the UN gained a cohesive digital framework that strengthened brand recognition across its ecosystem. The redesign supported the organization’s mission by delivering a clearer, more accessible platform for teams worldwide.
